There are many different options for hotels. We select and recommend the best hotels in all budget ranges. For our package tours that include accommodation, we choose the best hotels in that destination from 2 star to 5 star. The room rate is different from room type and star of your choice. You can give us your special of choice so that we give you the best cost and suitable with your package.
Breakfast is included at most hotels, our sales staff will inform you if it is not.
For our package tours, hotels are pre-booked and cannot be changed. On a private tour, the choice is yours.

 

Can we overnight at homestay ?
Yes, you can. You can be homestay in Sa Pa. This is an interesting experience for you to visit Viet Nam and learn more of stilthouse of minority people.

What is single supplement?
The price is based on twin shared accommodation. Single supplement is the extra cost applied for those who want private rooms on the trip.

 

Can you clarify the three accommodation classes?
Except for the accommodations in the remote areas, the qualities of one class are the same in Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Da Lat and Saigon. You can also upgrade nicer and larger room if you wish. And you will surcharge for the upgrade room.

- Standard: 2 star hotel. Shared twin/double room with private bathroom, hot shower, air-conditioning, in some cases plus satellite TV, IDD tel., mini-bar and laundry service.
- Superior: 3 star hotel. Shared twin/double room with full complementary services, sauna massage, garden bar or swimming pool …

Is it safe for us to leave our luggage at the hotel ? Is there an alternative ?
Many customers can leave their luggage at their hotel while they go on a Eco tour if the room isnot available before check-in time. We’ve yet had any problems with this. As an alternative, we do have free storage at our office in Viet Nam.

 

Do we need to drop into your office immediately, or just show up for tour departure?
No, you don’t. Our guide and driver transfer you to hotel for checking in and relax. You will visit our office when you have leisure time on the trip and to reconfirm your tour.

 

How many day we should visit Viet Nam ?
We have set tours on website for you to choose such as 8 days, 13 days… or in each arean of Viet Nam. Or you can give us your information and time you wish. We will make you a customize tour. There is no limited of date to stay and visit in Viet Nam with us.

 

What time is the best one for visiting Viet Nam ?
Depending on places and cities you wish to visit, there are dry season and winter season in Viet Nam. The time to visit depends on area you visit, you can travel to Viet Nam around year.

 

Where does the tour start and finish?
Normally you start or finish your tour from Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh city. If you arrive Ha Noi first, you should departure from Ho Chi Minh. This is the best way to travel to Viet Nam. You shouldn’t return the same city both arrive and departure because you will waste a domestic flight ticket of returning for departure.

 

Are the tour prices on your website in US Dollars?
Yes they are. But we can make exchange rate if you wish to pay us by other dollars or unit of currency.

 

How can we trust to your Eco Travel?
You can check our international lincense which is recognized by Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism on our website. Or you can call or send email to Viet Nam Administration of Tourism to check whether our company is a real one or not. We require you to deposit us 30% of the tour when you book tour with us. I will send you the deposit bill as an acceptance of your booking and know that you paid us deposit.

 

What kind of vehicles do you use for road trips?
We use modern, clean, well maintained, professionally driven coaches. Coaches are usually over sized for the group as the extra room is more comfortable.
Mini bus (28 seats): 9-14 passengers
Mini van (16 seats): 3-8 passengers
Car (4 seats): 1 or 2 passengers
They're all made in Japanese or Korean

 

If the meals are included, can I avoid foods I dislike?
Yes, you can. If you are vegetarian, please take note this to us. You will have vegetarian diet at restaurant during your trip. If you cannot eat some special foods such as seafood, fork, beef, etc., we try to take very your special care and make a point of discovering any strong dislikes when you are booking. We're taking you "home" to Vietnam, and you can enjoy taste Vietnamese special and impressive which you like!

Do your tour guides speak good English or French?
Yes, Our popular guide speaks English or French. They are very experienced and have a bit of good humour too! All our guides have studied and spoken foreign languages. If you want a tailor made tour with another language, please inquire with our sales staff. We aslo have German, Italian, Spain, Russian speaking guide. But the cost maybe more expensive than English or French Guide.

 

Can Eco Nature Travel book international airfare?
Yes, we can. But normally you should book international flight ticket by yourself on the internet so that you can have the best cost. And you can be flexible in your date of visiting Viet Nam. What age-groups take your tours?

We want to make tour to Sapa and Halong Bay. Can we do the tours back to back? Will we be back in Hanoi in time to depart for the other tour on the same day?

Yes, you can. Many customers have a limited time and need to do exactly this. Whether you do tour to Sapa first or Halong Bay, you’ll depart and connect time for the second tour on the same day  when you return from the first.

 

Our tour ends on the same day we want to catch the night train to Hue city, will we have enough time?
Most of our tours arrive back in Hanoi around dinner time leaving you plenty of time for the train to Hue. The best train departs at 11:00pm.

 

Which means of transport can we travel between cities?
Normally, you can travel by plane, train or bus. For saving time you should take flight. Or you can choose train to travel. Bus is other way but this is for backpacker tourist and the busget. It is not advantage for your trip if you vsiit next day.

 

Is it possible that a tour could be cancelled? What happens then?
A tour may be cancelled due to bad weather, closed roads. In any case, Eco will give you a full refund or how much percent depending on your time of cancellation. Please read more this in “ Our Term and Condition.

 

Can we book a tour without a guide?
It is possible to book some tours without a guide, for example many people book a jeep and driver to do NW loop or NE loop. For your safety, a guide is mandatory on all Eco ‘adventure’ tours such as kayaking and biking.
