A combination trip to visit history, nature and World Heritage sites. Hue brings you to learn about architecture of Nguyen Reign in 18th Century as well as famous masoleum of Kings while DMZ will take you back the war of Vietnamese in 19th century between Vietnam and America. An exciting experience is to overnight at stilthouse of minority people in ALuoi. Having exploration of Bach Ma National Park to learn about nature and the last place to visit only one destination but two World Heritage sites is My Son Hollyland & Hoi An ancient town - an ideal place for visiting and shopping.

 

Itinerary detail:

Day 1: Arrive Hue, half day city tour (D)

Am. Our guide and driver will pick you up at Hue airport then transfer to your hotel in downtown for checking in. Free leisure by yourself.

Pm. You will take a cyclo trip also called "Xich Lo" with three wheels to visit the Forbidden Purple City including Noon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Mieu temple, Nine Urn Dynasties... On cyclo you will be riden through green streets. Especially in summer you can admire Phuong flowers with a red color and many other colorful flowers along streets. Visit Dong Ba Market to find out the way local people purchasing products and go shopping. Have dinner in the restaurant and enjoy Hue royal folk songs. Overnight in Hue.

Day 2: Boat trip on Perfume river and Hue city tour (BL)

Am. Have breakfast at your hotel. You walk to the boat landing for taking a boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda - the ancientest one of Vietnam lies on north bank of river. Dragon boat is a special local of Hue people which is different from other kinds of boats in other places. Step on foot to go into the pagoda, know more about the history of this famous pagoada, the Phuoc Duyen Tower ... and then visit the lavish Tu Duc and Minh Mang Mausoleums to learn about the way and their palaces of these Kings with the wonderful harmony of between sights and natures. Have lunch in the restaurant.

Pm. In the afternoon you continue to visit traditional handicraft villages including incense stick making village, Phu Cam conical hat-making village to get more experiences of special villages of Hue city. Getting these products for souvernir gift about Vietnam is very suitable for you to your relatives, friends and colleagues. At night you are free to explore Hue city with colorful of Trang Tien Bridge and free to have your own dinner. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 3: DMZ and Ta Oi trible village (BLD)

Am. Have breakfast at your hotel. It takes you about 2 hours on car/van to Dong Ha Town. This morning you start to visit Vinh Moc Tunnels - the unique tunnel during the war and learn about a part history of Vietnam war in 19th Century and the way Vietnamese fought against America Army, Doc Mieu fight base, Hien Luong bridge, the 17th Parallel. Have lunch in Dong Ha town.

Pm. You continue visiting Khe Sanh combat base by Highway 9 with many places for stopping to see such as Rock pile, Dakrong bridge, Ta Con field base (airport). Driving to A Luoi you will check in House on Stilt. You will be together with minority people to prepare and cook dinner. Having dinner with special foods of Ta Oi tribe and enjoy traditional music performance. At night you can have chance to talk to ethnic people to learn more about their life and culture. Overnight in Stilt house in A Luoi.

Day 4: A Luoi to Bach Ma National park (BLD)

Am. Have breakfast at stilthouse. You will visit some Stilt houses of Ethnic People in A Hua Village. First of all you will visit a local school to get more knowledge of ethnic children and the environment of school they study. An experience for having more culture of minority people and life. Then you will enjoy the interesting feel by trekking to Hamburger hill ( nickname 932 Hill)- the famous site in the war betwwen Vietnam and America. Now you will see a green forest and there are something still remain until now. Have a picnic lunch.

Pm. Guide and driver take you to leave A Luoi District to Bach Ma National Park. Then you trek to the camping area where you have an overnight. Tents are set up for the night. First you will visit Hai Vong Dai - the tower on the top of Bach Ma summit. Here you see the whole forest and Tam Giang laggon and enjoy sunset from the top. Bach Ma is also known as the second Da Lat city in the Central of Vietnam with the cool climate. Back to the camping area for dinning. At night you will take part in camping fire activity, sleeping on tents to get the feeling of nature night.

Day 5: Bach Ma to Hoi An ancient town (BL)

Am. After your breakfast, you can enjoy beautiful sunrise scenery and then walk to visit Five Lakes as well as see wonderful views of Bach Ma, the flora & lots of bird, butterfly…Then you will admire by trekking Do Quyen waterfall is astounding and huge in the wooded mountain. It is more than 300m high and 20-30m wide. It is amazing to watch the silver water running into the bright red of water-rail flowers. And it requires you to step down and up 700 foot-steps to admire the huge Do Quyen Waterfall. From the bottom of the waterfall you can admire the whole sight of its imposing and the beauty of one kind of flower named with this waterfall.

Pm. You leave Bach Ma forest for Hoi An via the scenic Lang Co beach. Have lunch at Lang Co beach. After that go ahead to admire Hai Van Pass - from the top of the pass you have a chance to see the whole panorama of Lang Co beach and around. Stopover at Da Nang for visiting Cham Museum to watch the works of Cham people. Upon arrival, enjoy the balance of the evening to explore Hoi An on your own. Free to have your own dinner. At night you are free to discover Hoi An streets with colorful of latterns. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6: My Son Hollyland & explore Hoi An ancient town (BL)

Am. After your breakfast. This morning guide and driver take you to visit My Son Hollyland - 50km far way Hoi An town for visiting the ruin of Cham people where was the kingdom of Cham in the past. An experience of Cham people and their culture is to enjoy traditional music performance. Leave My Son, you’ll also take a boat trip to a village of wood workers and boat building families on Thanh Ha Island on Thu Bon River. Back Hoi An and have lunch in the restaurant.

Pm. You make a walking tour to visit Hoi An ancient town including the Japanese Covered Bridge, the beautiful Chinese Assembly Halls, the Phuoc Kien Pagoda, and the local market. Later come to a local school for a very special visit in which is sure to become your newest friends. This visit helps you to have more information of school of children. This evening is free for you to have dinner. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Departure Hoi An to Da Nang (B)

Am. After your breakfast, you’ll enjoy a free half day for shopping and tailored made silk clothes or to go to Cua Dai beach which is only 4 km away from the town to get refresh before leaving Hoi An.

Pm. The driver will transfer you from hotel to Da Nang airport for taking flight to next destination. "Goodbye and see you again
