Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau – Pu Luong (LD)

Am: After your breakfast at your hotel. Our guide and driver welcome you at your hotel at 8.00 am and transfer you to Mai Chau. Mai Chau is the heart beautiful valley far from the busy city Ha Noi about 135 km. Rice paddies and rural living emerge in this mountainous area as a paradise where consists of minority people are living. Day dream as we drive a safe route with spectacular views around every bend. Upon arrival at Poom Coom village in Mai Chau, we will take a short walk to visit the ethnic Thai people, then lunch will be served at local home.

Pm: By 1:00 pm take a short ride (15 minutes) to the Ma river, where we will take a short boat trip then start a 2 to 3 hour walk through beautiful hill side villages, magnificent rice paddies, seeing hand crafted bamboo water wheels. The highlight on this walk is experiencing the beauty of Pu luong Nature Reserve is an area of outstanding beauty, cultural interest and high biodiversity value stretching from Mai Chau in the north west to Cuc Phuong National Park in the south east. The region is blessed with rich forest, limestone panoramas, magnificent rice terraces and breathtaking scenery. On this trip you can experience the everyday life and culture of Thai and Muong ethnic minorities and spend nights with friendly locals. This is a chance for you to enjoy the everyday life and culture of the white Thai people. Become a part of local life when we are welcomed as honored guests at a traditional Thai home on stilts. Here in Hang village we will have a traditional dinner and stay the night. Today you will go far away from Ha Noi 170 km and take you about 3 hours walking. Overnight in stilthouse.

Day 2: Pu Luong - Mai Chau – Back to Hanoi (BL)

Am: Get up very early to enjoy the new beginning day in the moutainous. The morning fogs on foot of mountain will give you as a beautiful picture of this mountain area. The daily life here starts early, it will be interesting for you to get up at the first sign of day light and take part in the activities in the morning, or take a stroll around Hang village before having breakfast with our new Thai friends. At 8:00 am start a trek inside the Pu Luong Nature Reserve to have more explorations of this National Park with spectacular of natures and people here as well. Then onto the main road, after a 3 hours walk, the driver will pick us up and transfer to the Poom Coong village for lunch.

Pm: At 2.30 pm after your time to visit Mai Chau and Pu Luong National Park for more experirnces of beautiful landscapes of Vietnam in Northern, we will leave Mai Chau for returning Ha Noi. We arrive and finish our tour at your hotel by around 6:00 pm.
