With your limited time, 2 days tour trekking in Sapa and stay at hotel in Sapa town will give you an overview of beauties of Sapa as well as specialities of ethnic people in north highland of Vietnam. Clouds and landscapes here will make you to have a feeling as on heaven. Only coming there to enjoy special of this mountainous town.

Itinerary in detail:

Day 1: Arrive Lao Cai – Sa Pa. Visit Ta phin village – Ham Rong mountain & Cat Cat village (BLD)

The night before: You will be transferred to Ha Noi Train Station for taking night train to Lao Cai province at 8.30 pm. You will share AC soft sleeper of 4 cabins.

Am: Today’s morning: The train arrives Lao Cai Train Station at 5.30 am where our guide and driver welcome you with the sign “Eco Travel” outside. Then the driver and guide take you to Sa Pa via the clouds. On arrival Sa Pa you will stop at a local restaurant for a morning shower and have breakfast. After a short rest, this morning you will visit Ta Phin village. This is an opportunity for you to visit and explore the village of Ta Phin where the Red Dao and black Hmong ethnic minority hill tribes live. Here it is also possible to see the stunning scenery of the valley as well as visit the local cave. You continue visiting Ham Rong mountain called The Dragon' Jaws Mountain is a real eco-preservation area with secluded landscapes and a myriad of indigenous plants typical of Northwest Vietnam. Fascinating extras include a Garden of Stones in different shapes and sizes. You are back Sa Pa town for more exploration of minority people customs. Have lunch at restaurant.

Pm: This afternoon you follow a small road for going on trekking journey to Cat Cat village. During trekking time you pass through small villages, visit black H'mong people family and discovery lifestyle of ethnic minority. You will walk down to the waterfall and Hydrogen power station built by French. You have a chance to enjoy traditional music performance of minority people in Cat Cat village for learning more of their cultures. Have dinner at restaurant and overnight in hotel. At night you are free to explore Sapa night market by yourself for having more understanding the variety of minority people in Sapa town. Overnight at hotel in Sa Pa.

Day 2: Trek to Lao Chai & Ta Van village. Train back Ha Noi (BLD)

Am: After your breakfast at hotel. You will start your walking day tour to Lao Chai, a village of Black H’mong ethnic minority. Lao Chai is nestled in Muong Hoa Valley, at the foot of the impressive Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range and surrounded by rice terraces. You will cross Muong Hoa River on hanging bridge to reach Lao Chai Village. You will visit a village school and a local house to learn about the H’mong life and culture. We would find a nice place for picnic lunch before continue walking to Tavan Village where the Giay ethnic minority lives. This is another chance for you to get more experiences of ethnic tribes people in Sapa and know more of their cultures. Sapa is the place where includes variety of ethnic groups with different cultures and lifestyles. Coming there you will enjoy the colors of these group people in their traditional clothes…Visit each village will leave you the differences of each ethnic people.
Pm: This afternoon guide and driver will transfer you to Lao Cai train station to get night train back Ha Noi. On arrival Lao Cai station, you will have dinner at a restaurant near here. Get on train with AC solf slepper. Spending night on train. You will arrive Ha Noi at about 5.00 am next morning. You will find your way back your hotel in Ha Noi. Normally taxi fee is about 50,000 Vietnam dong.
