Itinerary in detail:

Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam & city tour Ha Noi (L)

Am: Our guide and driver will welcome you at Noi Bai international airport and transfer to hotel. Depending on your arrival time, after taking a short break, thenwe will start our day trip by visiting the Temple of Literature – one of the world’s first universities and school of Confucianism founded in the 11th century. We will try to taste Ha Noi Pho (noodle soup) as our lunch at local restaurant.

Pm: This afternoon you will visit Museum of Ethnology where gives us the excellent knowledge of the country ethnic groups as well as their customs and lifestyle. Your finish activity of this day is enjoy the water puppet Show. At night if you wish you are free to spend time for walking around Hoan Kiem Lake and Ha Noi ancient Town. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight at hotel in Ha Noi.

Day 2: Visit Ha Long Bay, Kayak, Overnight on Red Dragon (BLD)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. At 8.00 am the bus driver welcomes at hotel on a shared van to Halong city. After 3.5 hours driving and viewing simple, country side, rice paddy life along the way, we arrive at the port. At 12.00, the junk crews welcome guests on board at Hon Gai Wharf. Check- in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.

Pm: Lunch with fresh local seafood while cruising to Bai Tu Long bay via Indochina film studio, Teapot islet, Blockhouse islet, Goat Head islet. Stop for swimming, visit mysterious Thien Canh cave. Relax at a wild beach, swim & kayak to explore the bay. Back to junk to enjoy relaxing or the sunset. Dinner and overnight on board nearby Vong Vieng village or Trinh Nu cave.

Day 3: Explore the tranquil scenery in BaiTuLong, back Hanoi, night train to Sapa (BLD)

Am: Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of Bay’s landscape. From 7.30 to 8:00 am have breakfast in the fresh air then visit Vong Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat. Meet the locals, visit floating school & fish farms. More time to swim in the middle of the bay. From 10: 15 am, we serve on a La-Carte-Menu, you can order any dishes in the menu whenever you want for breakfast and lunch. Continue cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. At 11: 45 am check out cabin while cruising back.

Pm: By noon at 12:00, we will be ashored to the pier, then shuttle bus driver hits the road back to Hanoi. Driver will drop at your hotel in Ha Noi city around 4:00 pm. Have dinner at restaurant, then the driver will transfer you to Ha Noi train Station for taking night train to Sa Pa at 8.30 pm. We will overnight on train in our first class & shared AC soft sleeper, 4 of cabins.

Day 4: Lao Cai – Sa Pa - Ta Phin & Cat Cat village. O/N in Sapa (BLD)

Am: Today’s morning: the train arrives Lao Cai Train Station at 5.30 am where our guide and driver welcome you with the sign “ Eco Travel” outside. Then the driver and guide take you to Sa Pa via the clouds stretch surrounding mountains which creates Sapa famous for pictures fanciful pictures and its special of this mountainous town. On arrival Sa Pa you will stop at a local restaurant for a morning shower and have breakfast at hotel. Check in hotel if room is available. First of all you will visit Ta Phin village where the Red Dao and black Hmong ethnic minority hill tribes live. Here it is also possible to see the stunning scenery of the valley as well as visit the local cave. You continue visiting Ham Rong mountain called The Dragon' Jaws Mountain is a real eco-preservation area with secluded landscapes and a myriad of indigenous plants typical of Northwest Vietnam. Fascinating extras include a Garden of Stones in different shapes and sizes. You are back Sapa town for more exploration of minority people customs. Have lunch at restaurant.

Pm: This afternoon you follow a small road for going on trekking journey to Cat Cat village. During trekking time you pass through small villages and visit black H'mong people family and discovery lifestyle of ethnic minority. You will walk down to the waterfall and Hydrogen power station built by French. You have a chance to enjoy traditional music performance of H'mong minority people in Cat Cat village for learning more of their cultures. After the walk you get on the car for the journey back to Sa Pa. Have dinner and overnight in hotel. At night you are free to explore Sapa night market by yourself for having more undestanding the variety of minority people in Sapa town. Overnight at hotel in Sa Pa.

Day 5: Sa Pa – Trek to Lao Chai – Ta Van & Homestay in Tavan village (BLD)

Am: After your breakfast at hotel. You will start your walking day tour to Lao Chai, a village of Black H’mong ethnic minority. Lao Chai is nestled in Muong Hoa Valley, at the foot of the impressive Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range and surrounded by rice terraces. You will cross Muong Hoa River on hanging bridge to reach Lao Chai Village. You would visit to village school and a local house to learn about the H’mong life and culture. This is one of the way for you to have knowledge of the variety of minority people in mountainous area.

Pm: We would find a nice place for picnic lunch before continue walking to Ta Van village where the Giay ethnic minority lives. Here you will stay overnight in a local house and enjoy a delicious dinner cooked by your tour guide. Overnight at the home-stay. Today you have picnic lunch and dinner as well as homestay in Ta Van village. At night you will have time to talk with friendly minority people for getting more interesting things of ethnic group and their customs as well.

Day 6: Ta Van – Sapa - Bac Ha market & Night train back Hanoi (BLD)

Am: After having breakfast at stilthouse which is prepared by minority people with their special cakes. You leave Ta Van village for back Sa Pa town. You go on being transferred to Bac Ha market which is 70km Northeast of Lao Cai. The ride is relatively flat from Lao Cai to Bao Nhai where you will be taken through rural area. Bac Ha is the largest market in the area, situated inside the small town of Bac Ha. On every Sunday mornings, it is literally a riot of color as many different ethnic groups such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay, Nung minorities...gather to buy and sell. After spending the whole morning exploring the market, you may want to have your lunch in a local restaurant.

Pm: After lunch, this afternoon you will enjoy a walking tour to surrounding villages of H'mong and Tay minorities (Ban Pho village) for more discoveries of ethnic people here and their cultures as well. The life on mountainous area will give you more experiences of the living way on highland. Then you take the car back Lao Cai train station. You have dinner in restaurant near train station. Get on train back Ha Noi on solf sleeper AC cabin of 4. Spending night on train.

Day 7: Arrival Ha Noi & Free day (B)

Am: We arrive Ha Noi Station at 5.30 am. The driver picks up at the train station and transfer to the hotel for taking a break after a night on train. Have breakfast at hotel. Then today is free day for you to relax and go shopping in the ancient towns, lakes, parks... for more enjoyment of beauties of this old capital city of Vietnam. Free to have your own lunch.

Pm: You have more free time to walk around and discover Ha Noi with Old Quarter, lakes and go shopping. Free to have your own dinner. Ha Noi is a city for you to walk around at night to explore charmings. Overnight at hotel in Ha Noi.

Day 8: Ha Noi Departure (B)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. Our driver picks you up at your hotel and transfers to Noi Bai international airport for taking flight to next destination or back your home. Chao tam biet!!! Good bye and see you again.
