Itinerary in detail:   

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Vinh Long (LD)

Am: At 8.00 am our guide and driver will welcome you at hotel and transfer about 2 hours from hotel in Ho Chi Minh city to Tan An for starting your cycling day trip pass through tranquil and peaceful villages, rice paddy fileds and fruits orchards. This is a chance for you to enjoy the daily life of local people in this Delta with the hamorny of people, nature and animals together. Especially you can see the way local people to plant their fruit garden with variety of tropical fruits. Have lunch en route.

Pm: After lunch you keep on cycling to Cai Be. This afternoon you will ride 2 hours on bicycle on small dirt road, walk bridges and cross local ferry in order to onto Cai Be. We make a boarding on boat for the floating market and cruise over the mighty Mekong River (~ 1.5km wide) to Binh Hoa Phuoc village. We will have wonderful time to enjoy a great sunset view from the Mekong River which we will not have other chance to see anymore other places. Have dinner and overnight at a homestay island.

Day 2: Vinh Long – Can Tho (BLD)

Am: Have breakfast, then starting your day with an early morning bike ride on the island. This will give you a great opportunity to meet the local villagers and farmers as well as learn more about daily life and activities of delta people. Have lunch.

Pm: This afternoon we leave Vinh Long and head for Cantho, stopping on the way to experience more the daily life of the Mekong Delta inhabitants. Along the route you have more chance to learn about the life, landscapes of people in Mekong Delta. On arrival Can Tho, check in hotel. Have dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang – Phong Dien – Ho Chi Minh (BL)

Am: Have breakfast. In the early morning we will make a boat trip to Cai Rang and Phong Dien Floating Market to see the daily purchasing activity of local people. All fruits and agriculture crops of local people they bring and crowd on floating market to buy and sell. You will see a special customs of mekong delta people in Vietnam. Then we have more cruises up a quiet canal on winding arroyos to know more about activities on this delta. Wander into villages to visit rice paper mill and the rice noodle making factory. A chance to cross through “ Monkey Bridge” – a special one of Mekong Delta travel channels. Then continue riding to countryside to enjoy the beautiful Delta sceneries and that we can also see other local people ride bicycle as ours.

Pm: After having lunch, we will leave Can Tho and head back to Ho Chi Minh city. The driver drops you off hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.. End of tour at your hotel.
