Day 1: Vientiane arrival. ½ day city tour. O/n in Vientiane

Pm: Depending on your flight time, our guide and driver will welcome you at Vientiane International airport and transfer to Vientiane capital. On arrival, check in hotel. Vientiane is a charming and fascinating capital, with an interesting mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences. After a short rest, you start visiting the major sights of the capital including the WatSisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of WatPrakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. En route to Lao’s national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Day 2: Vientiane city tour & Flight to Xiang Khouang. O/n in Xiang Khouang

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. Then our guide and driver will pick you up at hotel and taking a drive along the Mekong River flowing between the Laos and Thailand borders and pass the Friendship Bridge then reach Buddha Park where is far from city about 24 km. Coming here, you will spend time on collection of huge statues and stupa. Depending on your flight time, our guide and driver drop you off at Vientiane International airport for taking flight to Xieng Khoang. Our guide and driver will welcome you at Xieng Khouang Airport for transfer to downtown. Have lunch at the restaurant. Check in hotel.

Pm: In this afternoon, you will visit the first and second site of the Plain of Jars with thousands of megalithic jars on spectacular scenery. Then transfer about 32 km to travel the old capital of Xiang Khouang (MuongKhoune) where H’mong ethnics live to get more knowledge about culture and history here. You will contemplate the famous WatChom Pagoda which was destroyed somehow in the past. Return to town in late afternoon. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Xiang Khouang city tour. O/n in Xiang Khouang

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. In this morning, our guide and driver will pick you up at hotel and transfer to visit Lao Leum village to get more knowledge about the daily life of H'Mong minority people here. Next, you have chance to survey the beautiful Hot Spring water and ThamPiu Cave - a solemn monument to hundreds of innocent villager killed in a 1968 us missile attack. You will see the golden Buddha, grave markers, bomb craters locals light incense to play tribute to the dead. After that, you continue to spend more your time to discover daily life of local people and go shopping at Phosavanh Market for enjoyable experience. Have lunch in the restaurant.

Pm: In this afternoon, you will be free to relax in hotel, walk around to explore this interesting city or go shopping more to buy souvenir. Free to have your own dinner. At night, you are free to wander around city by yourself for getting more experience. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Xiang Khouang – Transfer to Luang Prabang. O/n in Luang Prabang

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. In this early morning, you will leave Xiang Khouang Province - the home of the Plain of Jars to transfer to Luang Prabang. On the route, you will have chance to stopover for visiting H’Mong village to see the daily life of minority people. Have lunch in the restaurant.

Pm: You will arrive in Luang Prabang- the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia in the late afternoon. Check in hotel. At night, you are free to explore the tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5: Visit Pak Ou Caves – Khouangsi waterfall. O/n in Luang Prabang

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. After that you are transferred to boat pier for boarding a cruise upstream on the Mekong River which also gives us a taste of the tranquil countryside and an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at Ban Xang Hai to visit the rice wine distillation. Have lunch at restaurant.

Pm: This afternoon you continue driving to the beautiful Khoangsi waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths, return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon and continue to Ban Phanom, a well-known weaving village, return to the city by late evening for observing the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Have dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Luang Prabang city tour. O/n in Luang Prabang

Am: This morning you may want to wake up early and participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice. Have breakfast at hotel. Then you will visit The National Museum (closed on Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign and the impressive stupa of WatVisoun and the shrine of WatAham, Wat Mai. Have lunch at the restaurant.

Pm: After lunch, you will ascent up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. Free to have dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Luang Prabang free time & departure

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, you have free time to relax and more walking around streets for more exploration. Depend on your flight time; the driver drops you off the airport for taking flight departure. End of tour.
