Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake

Am: Our guide and driver welcome you at hotel in Ha Noi city at 7.00 am and then leave for Bac Kan. Today you spend on car/van about 6 hours to arrive in Bac Kan. At noon and stop at Bac Kan town for lunch (just a good local foodstall).

Pm: This afternoon, you are still on car until 3.00 pm, you arrive to the village of Tay minority people inside the Ba Be National Park. Check-in our homestay and refresh by a short leisurely walk in the park around, maybe some swimming if the weather permits. Then you are back home for having dinner with the family. This is a chance for you to have a talk of local culture or custom before bedtime. Overnight in stilt house.

Day 2: Boating into the three lakes of Ba Be

Am: In the early morning you wake up by the bird chirping. This will be the scarce moment of tranquility which is a very different feeling from the cities life. A feeling is very near to nature. After having breakfast at stilt house, you start discovering the subtle and imposing beauty of the area just on the local boat. You glide along the lakes, river and through the pretty cave to a powerful waterfall, the whole journey offers great natural scenery.

Pm: After lunch at a footstall nearby the waterfall, you take boat back into the tranquil Ba Be Lakes for its majesty, great and so fresh swimming here. Trek after that through the ethnic minority villages back our home. After a full day to row a boat and explore Ba Be Lake – the biggest natural lake of Vietnam to admire its imposing and beauties. The park is limestone country so lakes, caves …and it is a richly forest and home of many minority people communities. Dinner then sleep the second night at the house on stilts.

Day 3: Ba Be Lakes – Ha Noi

Am: Once more chance for you is to enjoy the fresh air and the tranquility in Ba Be National Park as well as the beautiful landscapes of the forest in the early morning. Have breakfast at stilt house. Then you take last walk into the park to have more exploration of this park as well as learn about its specials where rare species, which are in danger of extinction and many floras and faunas. Check out homestay and say goodbye to the host and leave this small village for returning Hanoi by 10.00 am. If you are lucky enough to be on Sunday, take a chance to visit kermis – a typical local market in highland areas. You have lunch on the way back Ha Noi.

Pm: This afternoon you still on car/van to back Ha Noi. You arrive in Ha Noi at about 5.30pm. Our guide and driver drop you off at hotel in Ha Noi. Tour end at your hotel.
