CLASSIC TOUR IN NORTHERN VIET NAM

HA NOI - HA LONG - SA PA ( Code CNVN )

Duration:  8 days / 7 nights

Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam & city tour Ha Noi ( L )

Our guide and driver will welcome you at Noi Bai international airport and transfer to hotel. Depending on your arrival time, after taking a short break, then we will start our day trip by visiting the Temple of Literature – one of the world’s first universities and school of Confucianism founded in the 11th century. We  will try to taste Ha Noi Pho ( noodle soup) as our lunch at local restaurant.

This afternoon you will visit  Museum of Ethnology where gives us the excellent knowledge of the country ethnic groups as well as their customs and lifestyle. Your finish activity of this day is enjoy the water puppet Show. At night if you wish you are free to spend time for walking around Hoan Kiem Lake and Ha Noi ancient Town. Overnight at hotel in Ha Noi.

Day 2: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay ( B, L, D )

Our day trip starts at 7.00 am from hotel, guide and driver will transfer us to Ha Long City for visiting this World Nature Wonder. Along the way we will experience the charming view of Vietnam countryside like rice paddy fields, water buffalo and the daily life of farmers as well as many other things. We have a short break for refreshment on arrival. When we will arrive Ha Long Tourist Wharf, we will board the boat - authentic Chinese Junk for starting our interesting and amazing cruise through Ha Long Bay - the World Heritage Site. We have lunch on boat with the freshest seafood. After the lunch we will visit “the amazing cave” and take swimming at this tranquil Bay and touch on the emerald water. Having more cruises into the quiet area where we will anchor and stay overnight. We have dinner and enjoy the sun sets on the boat. Overnight on cabin or fall asleep under the stars among the marvelous of Ha Long Bay on the top deck.

Day 3: Ha Long - Ha Noi – Night train to Sa Pa ( B, L, D )

To enjoy the great sunrise on sea we will wake up early in the morning, you also have time to breathe the fresh air of the ocean. After having breakfast and drink coffee on the boat, we do cruise leisurely pass through numerous islands to other famous sights of the Bay. This is the great time and chances to get unique and wonderful photographs.

The last time in Ha Long Bay is the time for stopping to visit a floating fishing village and listen to some legendary stories of the fishermen’s daily life. And if we wish we can have more swimming somewhere in the middle of the bay for refreshing before we cruise back to the tourist wharf of the bay.  We have lunch at the local restaurant in Ha Long Town. We are back Ha noi at 5.00 pm. Have dinner at restaurant, then the driver will transfer you to Ha Noi train Station for taking night train to Sa Pa at 8.30 pm. We will overnight on train in our first class & shared AC soft sleeper.

Day 4: Lao Cai - Sa Pa & Trek to Ta Phin ( B, L, D )

This morning the train arrives Lao Cai Train Station at 6.30 am where our guide will welcome you with the sign “Eco Travel “outside. Then the driver and guide take you to Sa Pa via the clouds.

On arrival Sa Pa you will stop at a local restaurant for a morning shower and have breakfast. After that the driver will take you a short distance from Sa Pa to our trekking base where we begin our trek pass through terraced rice paddy fields and H’mong villages. We will have an opportunity to stop to talk with a lot of local people and farmers on the fields. Lunch will be served en route. Then It will take us about 4 hours to continue our trekking to Ta Phin village of the Dao people. We will experience of the warmly welcome from family’s host. We stay in a traditional home and have dinner with special dishes of the ethnic people.

Day 5: More trekking and back to Sa Pa ( B )

In the early morning, you can have chance to hear the rhythms and sounds from birds and animals of the village life. You can join them in some of their activities, like feeding the animals; cleaning the houses, gardening or preparing breakfast. Have breakfast at Stilt House, then we will spend 4 hours to complete our trek on valley route to the main road linking Lao Cai and Sa Pa. Alternatively, for this long trek, you can choose take a short morning wander around the village for about 1 hour, resulting in more time spent with the host family and other villagers. For both options, you will be supported by our car / van back to Sa Pa (30 min).

When we return Sa Pa we will check in to the hotel, have a shower and take break for lunch. At 2:30 pm we will visit the gardens of beautiful Ham Rong Mountain and listen to traditional ethnic music which is performed by the ethnic minority people. Tonight we are free to have more exploration of the secrets of this colorful town. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa town.

Day 6: A visit Sin Chai village, Sa Pa - Lao Cai & Night train to Ha Noi ( B, D )

Spending once more day in Sa Pa. Have breakfast at hotel then we are free to meet and visit local people as well as purchase something at lively markets if you want.

In the afternoon at 2pm the driver will transfer us to visit Sin Chai village of H’mong. This is the chance for us to have more knowledge of life style of Hmong people and there is a special thing is that they are in an area close to the tourist path but they are still untouched. In the late afternoon, we will return Sa Pa and transfer to Lao Cai Town. Have dinner at local restaurant in Lao Cai then take night train to leave Lao Cai at 8.50 pm. We will overnight on train in our first class & shared AC soft sleeper.

Day 7: Arrive Ha Noi & Free day ( B )

We arrive Ha Noi at 4.30 am. The driver picks up at the train station and transfer to the hotel for taking a break after a night on train. Have breakfast at hotel then today is free day for us to relax and go shopping in the ancient Towns. Overnight at hotel in Ha Noi.

Day 8: Ha Noi Departure ( B )

Have breakfast at hotel. Our guide and car pick you up at your hotel then transfer to Noi Bai international airport for taking flight to next destination or back your home. Chao tam biet!!! Good bye and see you again.
