‘A
soft adventure to visit the hidden SaPa!’ 
Sapa is a beautiful former French hill-station, at an altitude of 1,650m this town boasts warm days and cool evenings. Nowadays it is still a popular destination due to its beautiful scenery of the mountain and the valleys surrounding and moreover Sapa are home to several Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, each with their own distinctive dress, customs and dialects. Sa pa is also renowned for its trekking. With Vietnam’s highest peak, Mt. Fansipan (3,143m) provides the perfect backdrop for some great treks. Some of the villages now have local home stays where you can overnight with a family in their traditional home. Here is the option of 3 days Sapa with 2 days trek and home stay:
Itinerary in Detailed:
Day 1: Ha Noi - Lao Cai - Sa Pa & Trek to Taphin (L, D)
The Night before: You will be transfer to Ha Noi
Train Station for taking night train to Lao Cai Town at 8.30 pm. You
will share AC soft sleeper of 4 cabins.
Today’s
morning: This morning the train arrives Lao Cai Train Station at 6.30 am
where our guide will welcome you with the sign “Eco Travel “outside.
Then the driver and guide take you to Sa Pa via the clouds.
On arrival Sa Pa you will stop at a local restaurant for a morning shower and have breakfast. After that the driver will take you a short distance from Sa Pa to our trekking base where we begin our trek pass through terraced rice paddy fields and H’mong villages. We will have an opportunity to stop to talk with a lot of local people and farmers on the fields. Lunch will be served en route. Then It will take us about 4 hours to continue our trekking to Ta Phin village of the Dao people. We will experience of the warmly welcome from family’s host. We stay in a traditional home and have dinner with special dishes of the ethnic people.
Day 2: More trekking and back to Sa Pa (B)
In the early morning,
you can have chance to hear the rhythms and sounds from birds and
animals
of the village life. You can join them in some of their activities, like
feeding the animals; cleaning the houses, gardening or preparing
breakfast. Have breakfast at Stilt House, then we will spend 4 hours to
complete our trek on valley route to the main road linking Lao Cai and
Sa Pa. Alternatively, for this long trek, you can choose take a short
morning wander around the village for about 1 hour, resulting in more
time spent with the host family and other villagers. For both options,
you will be supported by our car / van back to Sa Pa (30 min).
When we return Sa Pa we will check in to the hotel, have a shower and take break for lunch. At 2:30 pm we will visit the gardens of beautiful Ham Rong Mountain and listen to traditional ethnic music which is performed by the ethnic minority people. Tonight we are free to have more exploration of the secrets of this colorful town. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa town.
Day 3: A visit Sin Chai village, Sa Pa - Lao Cai & night train to Ha Noi (B)
Once
more day spending in Sa Pa. Have breakfast at hotel then we are free to
meet and visit local people as well as purchase something at lively
markets if you want.
In the afternoon at 2pm the driver will transfer us to visit Sin Chai village of H’mong. This is the chance for us to have more knowledge of life style of Hmong people and there is a special thing is that they are in an area close to the tourist path but they are still untouched. In the late afternoon, we will return Sa Pa and then take night train to leave Lao Cai at 8.50 pm. We will overnight on train in our first class & shared AC soft sleeper and arrive Ha Noi at 4.30 am. We find the way to back our hotel by taking taxi ourselves. The taxi cost is normally about 40,000 dong. Tour ends here.

What to bring: Passport, change of clothes, sun-glasses & hat, towels, toiletries, sun-block, insect repellent, flashlight, proper footwear, sleeping bag, good shoes for walking, a camera with lots of film and extra batteries, raincoat or umbrella, cable locks for luggage, other personal needs.
