CLASSIC TOUR IN CENTRAL VIETNAM

Day 1: Welcome to Da Nang, enjoy cooking class. Over night in Hoi An (D)

On arrival Da Nang airport, Eco’s guide and driver welcome you at Da Nang international airport and drive you to Hoi An Ancient town far away 40 km. You will stopover at Cham Museum where displays the variety of Cham architectures and Marble Mountain – famous with the name of Five Mountains for visiting these places in Da Nang. Arrive Hoi An in the afternoon and check in hotel. Then at 5.45 pm guide will take you to a restaurant in Hoi An for taking part in a cooking class. Cooking class is an interesting activity for all tourists coming here; therefore, it attracts tourists to take part in the process under instruction of chef-teacher. Not only you know how to cook a traditional foods of Hoi An but also you have an experience to cook it in steps by yourself. More especial, you can cook these dishes in the days after when you go home. You will taste your dinner with dishes you cooked. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 2: Visit Hoi An ancient town & transfer to Hue (B L)

Am: After breakfast at hotel, you will make a walking tour to visit the World Cultural Heritage Site in Hoi An Ancient Town, the busiest purchasing centre and port authority in the past to discover the unique combination of Oriental architecture including Chinese and Japanese style, as well as style of antique European architecture. These famous buildings are Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Ancient House with 200 years old, or Hoi Quan Phuc Kien Pagoda with style building of Chinese people, or Pottery Museum… Hoi An ancient town is known as the hidden charm where Miss World visited when they were in Vietnam. Hoi An is famous for ancient houses and lantern villages which creates this town has special interests to tourists. Admire the charm of this town by going along Thu Bon River to discover the daily life of Hoi An in a local market… There will be a chance for you to enjoy a traditional music performance in an old house in Hoi An. Hoi An is known as a shopping centre. Walking along old streets, you can also make tailor of clothes with reasonable price and have beautiful souvenir gifts. You will have lunch and to taste more traditional foods of Hoi An right after that.

Pm: Then you check out hotel, you will leave Hoi An for Hue city. On the way you will stop to visit Hai Van Pass. From the top of the pass, you have the whole panorama of Lang Co Beach and Cau Hai lagoon. Here you can have chance to take wonderful photographs. Next, you spend more time at Lang Co beach for getting refreshment of this beach’s beauty that is recognized as one of the most beautiful beach bay in Asia. On arrival Hue, check in hotel and take a break. Tonight you are free to have dinner by your way. In the evening you have more free time to explore of Hue ancient capital such as famous Trang Tien Bridge with colorful lights on weekend, XQ embroider shops, silk shops and especial vender people at nightlife. Overnight at hotel in Hue.

Day 3: City tour & Boat trip on perfume river (B L)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. Today is your full day to visit the Heritage City with the complex of Palace and Mausoleums of Nguyen Kings. At 8.00 am our guide and driver take you to the boat landing on Perfume River by dragon boat to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas of Viet Nam, built depending on an interesting story. It is located in the north bank of Perfume River and has the beautiful sight for you to discover both its beauty and history. This River is the title for many famous poets and writers as well as musicians in Vietnam to tell about. Next you will visit the Citadel is known as the palace of Nguyen Kings’ reign. Eco’s guide will give you to have more knowledge of Nguyen Kings as well as their lives and working places with sites like the Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynasty Urns, and Noon Gate. As well, enjoy Royal Music show at Duyet Thi Duong Theater for more experiences of cultural values… inside of the Forbidden Purple City and the outside is in the Imperial city like Nine Holy Cannons, Flag Tower, and Ancient Museum. Have lunch at a restaurant to enjoy traditional foods of Hue.

Pm: This afternoon you continue visiting Tu Duc tomb, Khai Dinh tomb and handicraft villages including incense making, hat-making and bronze-casting village. A small souvenir of Hue conical hat is a beautiful gift that tourists would like to bring back their country once coming to Hue city. Free to have your own dinner. At night, you are free to make a cyclo tour around the streets for more enjoyment and experiences of local life. Overnight at hotel in Hue.

Optional: Coming to Hue, you can have a Royal dinner at a restaurant. You will wear King/Queen customs, Royal mantles, Imperial Robes, taste Royal dishes and enjoy Hue folk song performed by musician and singers as a Royal family in Hue in the past. This is the wonderful time to try to be a King/ Queen.

Day 4: Visit Garden houses & departure Hue (B)

Am: After having breakfast, today is more chance for you to learn more of Hue people, history, and its architectures with Garden Houses of Mandarins in the past. You will make a city tour around Hue again to visit garden houses of Ngoc Son princess and An Hien garden house to learn more of architecture of Hue houses’ system. Coming here you will admire the construction of “Ruong” house, a special kind of house that Hue people built to protect from the hard weather, as well as obeying the “Feng-Shui rule” of oriental conception in order to bring the best things for the owner and relatives in their life. Then at noon, the driver will transfer you to Hue airport for taking flight to next destination. End of tour here and Good-bye!
