Sapa is a beautiful former French hill-station, at an altitude of 1,650m this town boasts warm days and cool evenings. Nowadays it is still a popular destination due to its beautiful scenery of the mountain and the valleys surrounding. Moreover, Sapa are home to several Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, each with their own distinctive dress, customs and dialects. Sa pa is also renowned for its trekking. With Vietnam’s highest peak, Fansipan Mountain (3,143 meters) provides the perfect backdrop for some great treks. Some of the villages now have local home stays where you can overnight with a family in their traditional home. Day 1: Arrive in Lao Cai – Lao Chai – Homestay in Tavan village

Day 5: Sapa – Take morning bus back Ha Noi 

The night before: At 21:00 pm, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Ha Noi train station for getting night train to Lao Cai on train – SP3 depart at 22:00 pm - AC soft sleeper (tourist cabins). Overnight on train.

Day 1: Arrive Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Homestay in Ta Van Village

Am: The Chapa train arrives Lao Cai Train Station at 06:10 am. Our guide and driver will pick you up at train station with welcome sign “Eco Nature Travel” and take you to hotel in Sapa for a short rest. Have breakfast at hotel. Next, our guide and driver will take you to Sa Pa town. Sa Pa, a highland town around with the covering clouds like a picture make you to have an interesting feeling when you step your foot to get it wonderfully by your eyes. This morning you will start trekking to Lao Chai, a village of Black H’mong ethnic minority. Lao Chai is nestled in Muong Hoa Valley, at the foot of the impressive Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range and surrounded by rice terraces. You will cross Muong Hoa River on hanging bridge to reach Lao Chai Village. You would visit to village school and a local house to learn about the H’mong life and culture. Sapa and surrounding is a very beautiful place of ladder rice paddy fields. Coming there on harvest with yellow of ripe rice or green when rice is growing, you will have impressive pictures of this famous town of Vietnam. Especially the clouds around mountain as a drawing picture add the beauty of Sapa in real life. You will have lunch beside a flowing waterfall.

Pm: Continue walking to Ta Van Village where the Giay ethnic minority lives. Check in homestay. This is one of the best ways for you to learn about minority people culture directly. Here you have a chance to make acquainted to friendly ethnic people as well as know their lifestyle in the mountainous area. Here you will stay overnight in a local house and enjoy a delicious dinner cooked by your tour guide. Overnight in homestay of Ta Van village.

Day 2: Ta Van  Giang Ta Chai – Homestay in Ban Ho Village

Am: Today’s trek is short, but still the landscape is beautiful. Once you get energy for your last day trek after having breakfast with delicious cake made by minority people to taste their foods, you leave for Giang Ta Chai Village where you can take a rest nearby a waterfall to enjoy the surroundings. You will continue walking through a bamboo forest, and when you have passed the forest you find a nice place to enjoy lunch. Walk ahead up to Giang Ta Chai Village to meet the red Zdao tribe.

Pm: After lunch, you will trek up and down hill jungle and pass the Muong Hoa River. Arrival Ban Ho Village, there live the Tay tribes with their special wooden houses on stills, which are sure to amaze you. Check in and spend your second night homestay in the Tay family. Have dinner with minority people of Tay family. This night you have once more night to enjoy and meet other ethnic people in Sapa and have more experiences of the variety in their cultures and customs. Overnight in homestay Ho Village

Day 3: Ban Ho Village – Su Pan – Ta Phin – Sapa. O/n in Sapa

Am: Get up early to enjoy the fresh air on the mountain and more experiences of activities in morning of local people. After your breakfast at stilt house, you start your day trip to trek up to Su Pan where you have more chance to explore and experience the daily life of the village H’mong ethnic minority as well as take a refreshing swim in a local river. Come back Sapa for having lunch at restaurant.

Pm: This afternoon, you will visit Ta Phin where you can meet Red Dao people (the most colorful people in Sapa). You will walk around Ta Phin village where 2 ethnic groups, Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities, live their own way with no cultural mixture, experience how different they are in many ways by visiting their house and interact with the locals. Next, take your time for a herbal bath. Red Dao people will boil a collection of fresh and dried plants and bark in a water filled giant wok, over a charcoal fire. Then this water will be transferred to a wooden barrel tub and ready for you to come and soak your bones in the Dao traditional bath and wash away your aches, pains, worries and woes all at once in the privacy of a separate bathhouse. Check in your hotel in Sapa. Relax at hotel or walk around the town for more explore… Free to have your own dinner. At night, you can visit Sapa Night Market to see the specific activity feature of this highland. Overnight in Sapa

Day 4: Discover Fansipan Moutain at 3,143 metres – Visit Tram Ton Pass – Love Waterfall. O/n in Sa Pa

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, you will discover Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains. It normally takes people one or two days to reach the peak of Fansipan mountain on foot. However, you will take The three-rope cable car system which carry you from the bottom to the highest point of the mountain in 15-20 minutes. From there, you can enjoy the scenery and magnificent views to Sapa area and beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province. Then, you will be transferred back to Sapa to have lunch at the restaurant.

Pm: This afternoon, you will visit Tram Ton Pass - Vietnam highest mountain pass and known as Heaven’s Gate. From here you can see great views of surounding mountains. You will trek through forest and along the stream to arrive Love Waterfall to relax and listen to the legendary love story. Back your hotel. Free to relax at hotel or walk around the town for more explore. You can visit stone church which is located in the heart of Sapa town built by the French from the early 20th century or enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain and the valleys surrounding. Free to have your own dinner. At night, you can visit Sapa Night Market to see the specific activity feature of this highland. Overnight at Sa Pa.

Day 5: Sapa – Take morning bus back Ha Noi

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning at 8:00 am our shuttle bus will pick up you at your hotel in Sapa and transfer you return Ha Noi City. Check in hotel by yourself. Free to have your own lunch. End of the tour at your own hotel in Ha Noi.
