Day 1: Welcome to Hue – Hue city tour. Overnight in Hue

AM: You are welcomed at Phu Bai Airport or Hue railway station by Eco Travel’s tour guide and driver with a welcome sign “Eco Nature Travel”. Start the day trip with a boat trip on the Perfume River and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, wonderful scenery and the daily life of locals along the river’s banks. Leave the boat and visit Thien Mu Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hue, admire its ancient architecture, and learn more about the spiritual life of locals. Have lunch at a restaurant to enjoy Hue traditional foods.

PM: After lunch, you will visit the Citadel where Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 with numerous attractive places and buildings to see like Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Purple Forbidden City. Next, visit Dong Ba Market to experience trading activities in the largest market in the city, shop for local souvenirs and get a glimpse of the local lifestyle. Transfer to check in at hotel. Free to have your own dinner and explore the city at your leisure, wander along the pedestrian pathways near the iconic Truong Tien Bridge. Overnight at the hotel in Hue.

Day 2: Hue – Ho Chi Minh Trail. Overnight in Ta Lang village 

AM: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, the guide and driver pick you up at hotel and transfer to visit Minh Mang Tomb which is considered as one of the must-visits among 7 imperial tombs in Hue. You will admire the architecture and beautiful landscapes surrounding the complex, as well as learn more about the life of Minh Mang Emperor. Travel to A Luoi District about 70 km. Along the way from Hue to A Luoi you can see natural beauty and minority people in Highland Mountain as well as minority groups. On arrival in A Roang, visit the patriarch of village and listen to stories about the history and culture of the local Ta Oi ethnic group. Experience the traditional handicraft of Det Dzeng textile weaving with locals, to witness how the women weave their dresses or even admire the way they thread yarns on looms with their best tenacious efforts. Have lunch with local family.

PM: Travel south 60 kms on the legendary Ho Chi Minh route to the mountainous district of Tay Giang. On arrival, you will be welcomed with the village entry ceremony and check in at homestay. Free to visit around Ta Lang village where the ethnic minority of Co Tu live, and have chance to interact with friendly locals. Enjoy dinner with local dishesin Guol house – the traditional community house of Co Tu people. Tasting rice liquor “Ruou can” which is popular among the ethnic minorities in Vietnam while havinga talk with the tribal patriarch and local youth to know about the history of Ta Lang village and the local life through generations. Overnight at homestay in the village.

Day 3: Ta Lang Village – Da Nang – Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An

AM: Wake up early to enjoy the fresh air in the mountainous area. Take a walk around the village, down to rice fields and stream, to see the daily activities of local people in the morning. Have breakfast at homestay before leaving the village for Danang city. On arrival, have lunch at restaurant.

PM: After lunch, you will visit Cham Museum where displays the largest collection of Cham artefacts in the world. Listen to the stories of the ancient Champa Kingdom and admire the architectural styles with simple and elegant patterns.Travel to visit Marble Mountains which was named after the ancient oriental philosophy including 5 elements creating the universe: metal, wood, water, fire and earth. You will discover the systems of caves and tunnels and get the panoramic view of Da Nang and My Khe beach from the summit. Transfer to Hoi An and check in at hotel. Free to have your own dinner and explore the beauty of Hoi An town with colorful lanterns and souvenir shops along old streets in the evening. Overnight at Hoi An.

Day 4: My Son – Thanh Ha – Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An

AM: Have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to My Son Sanctuarwhere you can enjoy the architecture of Cham people built in red bricks in 11th century was recognized as a World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Also you have chance to enjoy traditional music performances of Cham people with their colorful costumes and special musical instruments. Leave My Son and back Hoi An, you will take a boat trip to visit Thanh Ha Ceramic village, experience to make ceramic productsby yourself with the construction of household and receive a small souvenir gift from them. Have lunch at restaurant.

PM: Explore the charming beauty of Hoi An ancient town including temples, pagodas, ancient houses and have chance to enjoy a traditional music performance in an ancient house. Visit the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge and admire its unique architecture. Hoi An is known as a shopping centre, you can also make tailors with reasonable prices and have beautiful souvenir gifts. Free to have your dinner and overnight athotel in Hoi An.

Day 5: Discover Hoi An countryside. Overnight in Hoi An

AM: Have breakfast at hotel. Transfer to take a boat trip to Cam Nam fishing village to learn fishing under the instruction of local people. Especially, you will practice by yourselves how to catch fish and throw fishing nets into the river. Then you will transfer to visit the green Bay Mau water coconut forest on a bamboo basket boat and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere on waterways. Join in catching field crabs and explore the revolutionary base in Hoi An during the Vietnam War. Grab a bike and take a cycling route through rice paddy fields and enjoy the beauty of the countryside. On arrival in Tra Que vegetable village, you are welcomed with friendly smiles and special welcome drink “E” water or local tea. Join in cooking with the local family, prepare ingredients and cook Hoi An special foods and enjoy lunch here.

PM: In the afternoon, you will dress in farming clothes, take a short walk around to visit the garden where local farmers work and use the traditional methods without support of electrical machines. Under the instruction of the household, you will practice to prepare and make the land, you fertilize green manure before growing vegetables.Watering the vegetables you have just grown, is the last activity in the procedure of planting them. After that, you come back to the house to relax by soaking your feet in Vietnamese herbs. Travel back to the hotel in the ancient town. Free to have your own dinner and relax at your own pace. Overnight in the hotel in Hoi An.

Day 6: Free time & Da Nang departure 

Have breakfast at the hotel, then you are free to go shopping at silk shops in Hoi An and have more exploration of this town or relax at the hotel. Afterward the driver takes you to Da Nang airport for your departure flight. End of the tour.
